Program by Grimdeath!
[THE ABOVE IS AN AVATEX 2400 SETUP WHICH CAN HANDLE BOTH
DIALTONES AND CARRIERS DUE TO THE MODEMS ROM ROUTINES]
** SETUP FILE ENTRY FORMAT EXPLANATION **
[NOTE:!!! Carriers are not detected in this program by connecting
with them! Trying to do so will result in Failure!!!!!]
(ENTRIES FROM TOP TO BOTTOM)
ENTRY #1: This Integer contains the length of time in seconds
after a carrier or dialtone has been found that the
program waits until it dials back to reverify its find.
Setting this Entry to a '0' (ZERO) causes the program
to save its find without verifying it.
ENTRY #2: Modem Initialization String. This string is VERY
important because all timing and modem responses are
a result of this line.
ENTRY #3: This entry contains the Dial String, which is responsible
for the Detection of Carriers and/or Dialtones.
Detection of Either depends upon a modems capability
to do so.
ENTRY #4: This entry contains the response of the modem, resulting
from line #3, that Signifies a CARRIER DETECTION.
